Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR partner for leadership and employees across multiple sites
- Advise managers on HR policies, employee relations, and operational HR matters
- Manage complex employee cases including disciplinary issues, underperformance, illness, and exits
- Support and implement performance management and job grading processes
- Lead and support HR projects with measurable business impact
- Manage relationships with labor unions, including participating in collective bargaining
- Support compensation and benefits cycles in collaboration with regional Rewards leadership
- Implement new HR policies and organizational initiatives
- Contribute to organizational development activities including restructuring and position management
- Coach or mentor HR colleagues
- Drive improvements in employee experience and workplace culture
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant HR experience in a broad HRBP or HR leadership role
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor and employment law
- Experience managing employee relations and complex HR cases
- Experience working with labor unions and collective bargaining processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage competing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
