In this role you will be a senior physician leader overseeing medical strategy across sarcoma studies, ensuring patient safety and clinical integrity within the programme. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate medical insights into study execution and regulatory interactions. As a member of the Clinical Matrix Team, you will influence both study- and programme-level decisions and support external scientific engagement. This on-site role requires presence at least two days per week with a future relocation to Cambridge, UK.

Responsibilities
- Provide medical oversight across study design, conduct, and data interpretation
- Guide medical monitoring and safety oversight to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
- Interpret complex clinical and safety data to inform programme decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed medical considerations in study execution
- Contribute to protocol development and patient-centred study design
- Engage with investigators, KEEs, and external scientific leaders for programme representation
- Mentor Medical Directors and develop clinical capability within the team
- Contribute to regulatory discussions and external scientific forums
- Lead or contribute to oncology-wide initiatives and cross-study safety review
Key requirements
- Medical degree and completion of advanced specialty training in medical oncology, pediatric oncology or hematology
- Experience in sarcoma oncology, including leading drug development
- Clinical and pharmaceutical experience in oncology clinical development across multiple studies or programmes
- Experience in medical monitoring, safety evaluation, and clinical data interpretation
- Understanding of clinical development processes, GCP, ICH guidelines, and global regulatory frameworks
- Experience operating within cross-functional matrix teams and contributing to complex clinical decisions
