Responsibilities

FEM modeling and calculations for heavy offshore systems
System, basic and detailed mechanical design
Define specifications for purchased parts
Design with focus on material usage, dimensions, weight, lifecycle and maintenance access
Perform detailed calculations to optimize designs

Key requirements

Experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in offshore/maritime or heavy steel construction
Strong understanding of structural calculations
Affinity with complex mechanical systems
Ability to adapt to new requirements and prioritize
EU passport or valid work permit for The Netherlands
Good command of English (spoken and written)
