In this role, you drive the operation, integration, and ongoing refinement of manufacturing systems within Amgen’s Manufacturing Operations Technology team. You will manage MES and related data systems across the ATO site, collaborating with global teams to standardize processes and ensure compliant, efficient manufacturing. You’ll lead incident investigations, support regulatory readiness, and push Industry 4.0 initiatives to boost capacity. This position offers hands-on impact across cross-functional partners and a pathway to shape Amgen’s digital manufacturing landscape.

Responsibilities
- Support and stabilize key manufacturing systems across multiple buildings and the ATO site
- Manage system integrations and drive operational improvements
- Champion business process improvements and digital initiatives leveraging AI and established platforms
- Provide after-hours on-call support and troubleshooting for manufacturing technology
- Lead major incident investigations and CAPA activities with root cause analysis
- Maintain inspection readiness and SDLC validation for critical applications
- Support regulatory inspections with data and on-site presentations
- Lead Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve efficiency and capacity
- Lead and train team members to develop multi-system competencies
- Maintain CMDB accuracy and support change control discussions at CAB meetings
- Support cyber resiliency initiatives and on-site, client-facing presence as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global MES/IDA teams for standardization and integration
Key requirements
- Doctorate degree or Master’s degree with 2 years in Information Systems/Systems Engineering
- or Bachelor’s degree with 4 years in Information Systems/Systems Engineering
- or Associate’s degree with 8 years in Information Systems/Systems Engineering
- or High school diploma / GED with 10 years in Information Systems/Systems Engineering
- Experience with GxP computer systems in regulated environments is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and data management skills
- Experience with IT change control and validation of GxP systems
- Proven communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
