In this role you will lead AI-evolving search performance for CB.com, spanning traditional SEO and AI-driven discovery. You will improve visibility, accuracy, and keyword efficiency across LLMs, AI summaries, and zero-click experiences. You’ll translate advanced search strategies into scalable content optimization and work across cross-functional teams to strengthen brand and thought leadership. This is an opportunity to shape how CB.com competes in AI-enabled search and enterprise discovery at scale.

Responsibilities

Own SEO, GEO, and AEO execution for .com content to optimize for traditional search and AI-powered discovery
Advise content strategy and AI workstreams on optimizing CB-owned content for LLM visibility and customer intent
Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and Architecture to align content structure, metadata, and schema with AI discovery best practices
Act as a strategic advisor on how AI visibility influences vendor comparison, reliability perception, and industry credibility in B2B markets
Analyze how LLMs and answer engines retrieve and summarize content; identify gaps and opportunities to improve brand representation
Conduct competitive analyses to understand peers' AI visibility strategies and recommend actionable improvements
Leverage SEO tools and analytics platforms to monitor performance and inform continuous optimization
Define and track success metrics across SEO, GEO, AEO, and zero-click performance and relate to downstream business impact
Stay current on search algorithms, LLM behavior, and AI discovery trends; proactively implement optimization strategies
Communicate progress, risks, and milestones to executives and cross-functional stakeholders
Lead and mentor junior team members and foster strategic thinking
Exhibit independent judgment in significant matters and maintain reliable attendance

Key requirements

Deep, hands-on expertise in SEO and demonstrated GEO and AEO optimization
Strong technical SEO background including structured data, schema, site architecture, and CMS
Proven experience with enterprise SEO and analytics platforms to drive strategy and measure impact
Ability to translate complex technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
Expertise in how LLMs and AI-driven discovery systems surface content
Experience working in large-scale, matrixed organizations
Proven track record as a collaborative team player with business acumen in a fast-paced, high-growth setting
Consistent independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
