In this role you drive upstream marketing across the product lifecycle for Olympus’ global respiratory portfolio. You’ll partner with R&D, regulatory, operations, and regional teams to shape product strategy, user requirements, and market launches. You’ll analyze market dynamics, lead VoC programs, and craft business cases to sustain growth and market leadership. This position blends strategic planning with hands-on project leadership in a global, cross-functional context.

Responsibilities

  • Own VoC activities and translate user needs into product requirements
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver stage-gate milestones on time
  • Collaborate with Market Intelligence for primary/secondary research to inform portfolio decisions
  • Define portfolio strategy and coordinate plans, budgets, timelines, and risk management
  • Develop relationships with healthcare professionals to support product development and adoption
  • Coordinate with regional marketing for successful product launches and global strategy alignment
  • Build deep clinical knowledge and participate in training, field activities, and industry events

Key requirements

  • Bachelor in Marketing, Business or related field
  • 5-8 years in product marketing/management in medical devices, diagnostics, or pharma
  • Strong clinical competency and analytics
  • Proven cross-functional leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Global mindset and intercultural awareness
  • Willingness to travel ~25% (including international)
  • Occasional evenings and weekends as needed
  • MBA or Master’s preferred (optional)
