In this role you drive HSE across Richemont’s Geneva-area campuses and lead strategic HSE coordination for critical sites. You’ll develop and mentor a small HSE team, manage external partners, and ensure compliance with regulations while advancing safety and environmental performance. You’ll collaborate with facilities, production, and HR to embed a proactive HSE culture and deliver measurable improvements. This position offers meaningful impact in safeguarding assets and people at high-value sites.

Responsibilities

  • Direct management of HSE operations at Campus Meyrin, Campus Bellevue, and Campus Villars-sur-Glâne
  • Lead and develop an internal/external HSE team and occupational health services
  • Manage third-party providers, contracts, performance, and ROI
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE risk mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices; drive corrective actions
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigation, root-cause analysis, and CAPA
  • Conduct internal HSE audits and reviews of processes and changes
  • Budgeting and resource management for HSE initiatives
  • Proactive monitoring of emerging HSE risks and trends; adapt strategies
  • Maintain on-site presence to ensure direct oversight and engagement
  • Coordinate with local authorities, facilities, production, and HR
  • Provide strategic alignment for HSE at critical sites with Group directives
  • Support risk assessments and vulnerability analyses at critical sites
  • Facilitate best-practice sharing and cross-functional HSE alignment
  • Offer expert guidance and training to site personnel and HSE managers
  • Liaise with Group HSE to evaluate requirements and implement innovations
  • Conduct regular site visits to provide support and feedback
  • Assist in emergency preparedness and business continuity plans

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management or related field
  • Swiss HSE qualification/certification (e.g., Federal Diploma for Safety Specialist, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) required
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HSE management experience, multi-site
  • Experience in luxury goods, high-value asset environments, or similar security/safety-focused settings is desirable
  • Multi-site management experience, ideally international
  • Strong data analysis skills to identify trends and inform decisions
  • Proven leadership with ability to develop diverse teams and influence stakeholders
  • Fluency in French and English; additional languages (e.g., German) advantageous
  • Strategic thinking to align HSE initiatives with business objectives and Group directives
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Swiss and international HSE regulations and best practices
  • Emergency response experience and ability to develop/validate plans
  • Commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability initiatives
