In this role you guide CMSO-aligned business development projects from diligence through integration on a global scale. You’ll partner with the global BD core team to embed CMSO perspective in deal processes and ensure smooth handoff to the integration phase. You will lead cross-functional discussions, assess target landscapes, and help craft integration plans that enable rapid value realization. Responsibilities

Provide CMSO-aligned guidance for BD projects and identify unique pathways
Perform in-depth due diligence analyses of target operations, supply chain, IT, and org structure with recommendations
Maintain effective stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution through deal close
Lead cross-functional discussions to inform strategic decision-making during BD processes
Map transaction and product flows with CMSO partners for project-related products
Identify and manage CMSO-related risks from initiation through integration
Lead development and presentation of integration plans agreed with BD and CMSO leaders
Contribute to BD CMSO playbooks and continuous improvement efforts
Support resourcing models and capacity planning for integration under Functional Integration Leaders
Coordinate global and regional needs to secure adequate support
Maintain updated view of all BD projects and communicate with CMSO senior leaders
Facilitate alignment of CMSO functions and regions throughout the BD process
Mentor and onboard Olympus CMSO Integration leaders and teams through post-deal integration
Perform other BD project tasks as directed by BD core-team or BD CMSO Director
Develop skills to support the Director, Business Development CMSO
Build and maintain regional networks across all businesses and divisions

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline
10+ years of supply chain experience in medical devices
3+ years in a global role supporting mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures in supply chain
Experience onboarding and integrating new suppliers
Strong data analytics skills and ability to work with large datasets
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proactive problem-solving mindset and cross-functional collaboration
Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects and communicate clearly
Interpersonal skills across cultures and personality types
High business acumen and adaptability; capable of tactical and strategic work
Travel up to 30% (domestic and international)
Knowledge of regulatory/quality standards and supply chain operations
