You will maintain direct customer engagement and drive operational planning, continuous improvement, and safety programs. Responsibilities

Interface with the customer to resolve issues promptly and maintain satisfaction
Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation
Lead continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to boost productivity and cohesion
Hire, supervise, and develop staff; foster positive employee relations
Maintain open communications within and across teams; review data to drive action
Possibly manage profit and loss statements based on scope
Lead a proactive safety program and enforce safety plans and processes
Oversee equipment maintenance through checklists and inspections
Perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements

Five or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field
Five or more years of managing, leading and developing direct reports
Customer interaction experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varied shifts
Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills
