In this role you will provide strategic legal support for complex commercial transactions across regions, partnering with Purchasing, Sales, Operations, Engineering and Finance to protect the company while enabling growth. You’ll draft, review, and negotiate a range of contracts and help optimize templates and negotiation guidelines. You will address contract structure, risks, liabilities, and compliance, and manage disputes when needed. The role sits within a fast-paced, international powertrain environment focused on net-zero solutions. This is a chance to shape how we scale globally while maintaining strong governance.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of purchasing and sales contracts (framework, supply, tooling, service, confidentiality, amendments)
- Provide strategic legal advice on contract structure, risks, liabilities, warranties, and compliance requirements
- Support contract lifecycle management and improve internal templates and negotiation guidelines
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure contractual alignment across regions
- Manage contract-related disputes, claims, or escalations when necessary
- Contribute to continuous process optimization in a fast-paced organizational environment
Key requirements
- Proven track record in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in industrial or international settings
- Experience managing multiple priorities and supporting teams in a solution-oriented way
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Law, Business or equivalent
- Outstanding communication and business acumen
- Strong understanding of purchasing/sales dynamics and contract risks with a collaborative mindset
- Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Spanish, French or Chinese an advantage
