In this role, you will serve as a trusted legal advisor to Tesla’s Northern Europe business units, guiding sales, service, marketing, real estate, and regulatory matters. You will manage complex cross-border issues, collaborate with regional and global teams, and oversee external counsel. The position offers a hands-on, strategic problem-solver who supports rapid business growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll help shape regulatory strategy and commercial negotiations across Norway, Sweden, or Denmark, contributing to Tesla’s sustainable energy mission.

Responsibilities

Serve as the legal trusted advisor for Tesla business units in the Northern Europe region
Draft and review terms & conditions, financial services, and related legal matters for sales, services (B2C and B2B)
Provide legal guidance for marketing, website, and customer communications
Draft and review real estate contracts for showrooms and service centers
Draft and review contracts for the Supercharger network and related matters
Manage regulatory matters for Tesla products in the region and build relationships with regulators
Coordinate with EMEA peers, the EMEA Litigation team, and global stakeholders

Key requirements

Qualified lawyer in Norway, Sweden, or Denmark
Experience at a law firm and/or in-house in a multinational environment
Proven ability to handle high workload of complex legal matters
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Autonomous, collaborative, and transparent work style
Entrepreneurial mindset with high integrity and judgment
Excellent English communication skills; additional northern European language desirable
Willingness to travel for business
