Senior Specialist / Project Manager

In this role you will assess information risk and drive remediation of vulnerabilities across the bank’s IT landscape. You’ll work with IT security and risk teams to evaluate network, systems, and applications, and support regulatory compliance efforts. You’ll report findings, guide corrective actions, and oversee risk remediation tasks and vendor security oversight. You’ll lead IT security projects and help promote best practices and standards. This is a chance to shape security posture in a large, enterprise setting.

Responsibilities

Manage IT security and IT risk across the enterprise (data systems, network, web)
Address audit and examination questions from internal and external entities
Develop policies, procedures and standards to meet regulatory requirements
Facilitate IT security/risk training curricula
Serve as project manager/lead on IT security projects
Promote regulatory standards and industry best practices
Oversee security maintenance of systems and applications for IT and vendors
Assist in IT audits, IT risk assessments and regulatory compliance
Identify risk reduction opportunities and document remediation options
Monitor risk remediation tasks and changes related to risk mitigation
Maintain oversight of vendor security posture and IT security controls

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7–10 years IT security or information security experience
4+ years administering IT security controls
Knowledge of CIS, NIST, and other standards; familiarity with SOX, JSOX, ISO 27001, CTPAT, TISAX (or similar) is a plus
Experience with security tools (SIEM, firewall, EDR/EPP, vulnerability management, Secure email gateway, DNS filtering)
Experience with Cisco security suites, Splunk, Palo Alto, Fortigate, Rapid7 is a plus
Cloud security posture management and multi-cloud security experience
Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, Azure, GCP, mobile devices; application security experience a plus
CISSP or related certification; project management skills preferred
Experience with data classification and data loss prevention
Prior security reviews and risk assessments experience preferred
