Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute internal audit engagements following established methodologies
  • Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management
  • Conduct audits in accordance with GAAP, SOX, and other regulatory frameworks
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with departments to gather information and facilitate audits
  • Assist in development and implementation of audit plans and schedules
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior auditors and staff
  • Monitor and follow up on corrective actions for audit findings

Key requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of internal audit standards and practices
  • Familiarity with GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal controls
  • Nice to have CIA certification, experience with complex audits and testing of controls
