Senior Specialist / Project Manager
Experteer Overview
Senior Hydrogeologist to lead and grow Florida hydrogeology practice within Stantec’s Water business. You’ll manage and deliver groundwater and water-supply projects across Florida, mentor staff, and build client relationships. You’ll work with cross-location teams to expand services and drive strategic pursuits. This role combines technical leadership with business development and regulatory expertise to shape statewide groundwater solutions.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor junior staff; support client proposals, negotiations, and permitting; prepare technical reports
- Design, permit, and oversee construction of water supply, deep injection, and ASR wells
- QA/QC review and technical oversight of field and design work by hydrogeologists
- Act as Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver projects on schedule and within budget
- Lead or support business development and client pursuits across Florida; assist with winning proposals and presentations
- Develop scopes of work and budgets; prepare subconsultant agreements
Key requirements
- 15+ years of hydrogeology or water resources experience
- Florida PG or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with water supply wells, monitoring wells, DIW, UIC, or ASR
- Florida regulatory/permitting experience
- Project management and client-facing experience
