In this role you will lead the global medical affairs strategy to demonstrate the value and science behind our medicines and vaccines, driving insights and education to improve patient outcomes. You will shape and execute the global medical scientific plan, working with cross-functional teams to close care gaps. You will build external expert networks and ensure high-quality scientific communications and governance. This is a high-impact, collaborative, global leadership role with a strong patient focus and an emphasis on innovation.

Responsibilities

Develop and timely execute Global Medical Affairs Plans (MAP) and Integrated Evidence Plans (IEP) with GMAT and IET
Align global strategy with Local Operating Company needs through extensive LOC collaboration
Drive cross-functional alignment to deliver Medical Plans on time and on budget
Oversee design and execution of GMA-sponsored clinical trials and inputs for externally sponsored research
Build and manage a global network of external experts (HCPs, patients, payors, regulators) for advisory activities
Create and deliver high-quality scientific materials and implement a global training/competency framework
Collaborate with Global Product Strategy, Market Access, and core country teams on evidence plans and core claims
Ensure medical governance, risk assessment, and mitigation for deliverables
Develop deep subject matter expertise on the product and therapy area; plan strategically
Foster a culture of future-ready innovation to accelerate patient-focused solutions

Key requirements

MD/MBBS/PharmD or PhD in oncology-related field
Significant Medical Affairs experience including LOC and global team roles
People leadership experience at global or LOC level
Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects, budgets, and stakeholder interactions
Strong collaboration across diverse internal and external stakeholders
