As Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Data Mining team, you will anchor the customer-facing product experience, shaping UI and control-plane services to explore petabytes of multimodal data. You’ll build scalable APIs and intuitive interfaces for enterprise users, collaborating with UX, ML, and platform teams. You’ll establish front-end best practices, robust testing, and reliable releases that prevent regressions. This role offers impact across AV data discovery, triage, and visualization at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical anchor for customer-facing applications, setting standards for UI architecture and performance (React, Next.js, TypeScript)
  • Collaborate with UX designers to translate workflows into responsive, interactive interfaces and data visualizations
  • Architect and scale low-latency REST and gRPC microservices in Python and Node.js/TypeScript for multimodal data queries
  • Establish robust testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth releases and no UI/UX regressions
  • Work with ML researchers, data mining engineers, and platform teams to translate data curation and triage needs into product features
  • Mentor engineers on full-stack best practices and articulate architectural strategies to peers and stakeholders

Key requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field
  • 6+ years of professional full-stack experience
  • Strong frontend with React, Next.js, TypeScript and strong backend in Python and Node.js
  • Experience designing high-performance APIs and managing cloud infra on AWS (EKS, Lambda) and AWS CDK or Terraform
  • Experience building automated testing pipelines (Cypress, Playwright) and maturing CI/CD practices
  • Track record collaborating with UX designers, ML engineers, and data teams
