As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, you will shape the ad framework components powering Samsung’s monetization stack. You’ll contribute to architecture, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of client-side JavaScript across devices. You collaborate with product, UX, and cross-site teams to deliver high-quality, performant experiences. This role blends hands-on development with mentoring and architectural guidance, in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment. You’ll help drive scalable, test-driven front-end solutions that matter at scale.

Responsibilities

Write efficient, clean, and well-documented code for consumer-facing services displayed on millions of devices
Prototype and develop frontend services for ad monetization and measurement
Collaborate with Product Managers, UX designers, and engineers to deliver a compelling product
Coordinate cross-site platform improvements with peers and leaders across Samsung Ad sites
Communicate effectively with distributed teams and drive Agile/test-driven development
Mentor team members on engineering best practices and code review guidelines
Promote quality through peer reviews and strong unit testing practices
Engage with distributed teams and contribute to technical proposals to improve software design
Work on Technical Proposals to improve software design and architecture
Drive architecture and engineering discussions to optimize performance and reliability

Key requirements

Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically 4+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 3+ years with a Master’s; PhD with no experience acceptable)
At least 3 years of proven experience as a JavaScript/Front-End Engineer in Ad Tech or related industry
Experience building JavaScript frameworks and libraries for consumer-facing devices with low memory footprints and strong performance focus
Strong architectural and design skills
Proficiency with Git and front-end build tools (webpack, npm)
Experience with performance optimization, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
Solid fundamentals with Astro, Node.js, React; expert HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Self-directed, collaborative team player with effective communication
Passion for delivering reliable, “done right the first time” web applications
