In this role you own the end-to-end forecasting process and partner with Demand & Inventory Managers and the Product Team to drive accurate, risk-aware decisions. You translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver KPI-focused forecasts and insights to support S&OP and execution. You will standardize forecasting practices, identify improvement opportunities, and lead data-driven initiatives across functions. You help shape reliable plans that enable a pet-first, growth-oriented business. This is a hands-on, collaborative role in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze forecasting performance and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders
- Own the end-to-end forecasting process and translate business needs into technical requirements
- Develop and present regular and ad-hoc forecasts and KPI reports, identifying root causes of deviations
- Support Sales and Operations Planning with forecast data to enable timely, risk-aware decisions
- Identify and implement process improvements and best practices in forecasting
- Lead standardization and simplification of forecasting processes, tools, and data flows across departments
- Provide clear, actionable forecasting insights to support cross-functional decision-making
Key requirements
- University degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Business Administration and Supply Chain Management with quantitative focus
- 5+ years of relevant forecasting experience (sales/demand/SKU/inbound/outbound)
- Proficiency in SQL; advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Experience with MS Power BI and Tableau is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to balance precision with pragmatic application
- Open-minded team player with ability to present complex ideas simply
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset with proactive idea contribution
