In this newly created Finance/Controlling role at Magna Steyr in Graz, you will manage the financials of a global customer portfolio and support business development in a new customer segment. You partner closely with Sales, Technical, and Project Controlling to shape quotations, contract negotiations, and financial guidance. You’ll develop standards for Project Controlling and help elevate the finance function across divisions. This is a cross-functional, international position with significant impact on profitability and customer partnerships.

Responsibilities

Manage financials for customer projects from quotation phase in collaboration with Sales, Technical, and Project Controlling
Support in quotation presentations and contract negotiations as part of the quotation team
Act as point of contact for all financial inquiries from new customers
Coach Project Controlling by verifying calculations during quotation process
Develop standards/templates for Project Controlling and assist in creating quotation presentations
Strengthen Business Development competencies within the financial teams of divisions
Maintain ongoing communication with Sales, Technical departments and Project Controlling

Key requirements

commercial or technical education at university level
extensive know-how in Finance/Controlling
several years of professional experience in the automotive supplier industry with international customers
profound knowledge of contract management and cost analysis of OEMs
experience in customer negotiations
ability to present financial data clearly and convincingly
high level of time flexibility
strong communication skills in German and English
additional foreign language is an asset
willingness to undertake business travels
