Senior Specialist / Project Manager

In this role you will lead and own short- and long-term EH&S engagements for diverse clients nationwide, improving safety and compliance. You work closely with client teams to identify unmet issues, implement robust safety programs, and drive high satisfaction. You will inspect environments, conduct training, and oversee incidents, acting as a subject matter expert across work environments. This position offers exposure to healthcare, life sciences, and industrial sectors within a culture focused on growth and WOW performance.

Responsibilities
- Provide Client Contractor Safety Orientation as needed
- Perform EHS program self-assessment and update EHS SOPs
- Enter information into the Client database (orientation, monthly status sheets, etc.)
- Participate in project/work meetings as assigned
- Enter incidents into the Intelex system
- Investigate construction/work accidents and incidents
- Collaborate with client and contractor personnel to support safety requirements and align safety culture
- Review and comment on JHAs and PTPs
- Coordinate safety and health efforts with client departments and sites
- Attend pre-bid/pre-work meetings as a key member
- Conduct audits and prepare Project Safety Status Reports
- Perform daily job-site visits to observe unsafe conditions
- Review and sign-off of Client Safe Work Permits
- Provide high-hazard training (LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work/Line Breaking)
- Complete Client-Success Factors training on time
- Develop and update EH&S permits, plans, and procedures
- Submit regulatory filings and reports
- Communicate safety issues and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct routine safety trainings (new employee orientation, hazard communication, forklift training)
Key requirements
- 5+ years professional experience
- Experience with construction safety
- Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments
- Working knowledge of OSHA construction and general industry standards
- Strong technical knowledge of OSHA confined space, LOTO, and permit to work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
