Mechanical Engineer in our NPD team designs and validates custom liquid-cooling solutions for high-performance computing systems. You’ll develop configurations, manage CAD models and drawings, and ensure manufacturability and quality across products. The role collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet customer specs and drive continuous improvement. This is a hands-on position at the intersection of thermal management and product innovation, with a clear impact on scalable, sustainable data-center solutions.

Responsibilities
- Perform detailed mechanical design, analysis, verification, and documentation for liquid-cooling NPD projects
- Develop custom configurations and packaging to meet performance and installation requirements
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and Bills of Materials per engineering standards
- Collaborate with internal and external suppliers on component selection and manufacturability
- Interpret schematics, specifications, and customer docs to define engineering requirements
- Design sheet metal, weldments, plastics, tubing, and mechanical assemblies for new and existing products
- Support cross-functional efforts with electrical, controls, manufacturing, PM, and quality teams
- Assist with sustaining engineering, design standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Prioritize workload to meet changing project demands
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in product design or thermal management systems
- Expert 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing creation with GD&T
- Experience with sheet metal, weldments, plastics, tubing, and mechanical packaging
- Ability to read P&IDs, schematics, and industry standards
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills in a dynamic environment
