As a Senior DevOps Engineer in our Swiss Re software house, you will architect and automate productive cloud infrastructure for Azure-based SaaS/PaaS products serving Life & Health insurance clients. You will lead and mentor a DevOps team, partnering with engineering leadership to align infrastructure with enterprise standards. Expect to design auto-deploy pipelines, DR strategies, and secure, high-performance environments while optimizing cost. This role offers impact across global, multi-regional deployments and a chance to shape resilient cloud platforms.

Responsibilities
- Automate deployment of cloud infrastructure (networking, storage, compute, policies, monitoring, security, identity, serverless components)
- Collaborate with product developers to embed DevOps into enterprise-grade cloud solutions
- Create and implement automation for SW infrastructure deployment, including DR plans and maintenance handover procedures
- continuously optimize infrastructure performance and manage cloud costs
- Ensure security, compliance and resilience of the infrastructure amidst evolving requirements
- Lead and mentor DevOps engineers, coordinating with architects, managers, tech leads, and product owners to deliver on roadmap and SDLC processes
Key requirements
- Azure services proficiency
- PowerShell/Bash scripting experience
- Strong Kubernetes and containerization knowledge
- Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
- Azure DevOps experience for CI/CD and release management
- Experience managing DevOps teams
