In this role, you will design and implement data and reporting solutions using Microsoft Azure tech to support business users and upgrade legacy systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions, monitor ongoing processes, and ensure robust deployment practices. You’ll mentor colleagues and foster continuous learning while contributing to data-driven decision making in a manufacturing-focused organization.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement data and reporting solutions from Dynamics, in-house, and third-party sources using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL Database
Support legacy Microsoft technologies (SSIS, SSRS) during transition and assist with change/migration efforts
Work with team and business users to understand and document requirements
Monitor BAU processes, perform root cause analysis, advise remediation, and deliver lifecycle-supported solutions
Ensure work is source-controlled with robust deployment packages
Mentor and train team members and wider users through knowledge sharing and pair programming

Key requirements

Delivery of complex BI solutions using modern data platform and reporting technologies in Azure (Synapse, ADF, Power BI)
Stakeholder management and project ownership
SSIS, SSRS
Strong data modelling knowledge
Setup and management of code management and deployment tools
