Senior CX/UX Research Consultant to drive advanced research for the Expert AI conversational assistant, shaping product strategy and delivering actionable insights. You will work with a cross-functional CX/UX team to solve complex problems by integrating cutting-edge technologies and translating user research into business impact. This hybrid role centers on influencing product direction and advancing AI-enabled UX across tax and accounting solutions. You’ll engage with executives and stakeholders to drive value at scale.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute complex, multi-phase user research studies aligned with business strategy
Merge qualitative and quantitative data using mixed methodologies
Present research insights to senior stakeholders to influence product decisions
Synthesize findings into executive-ready artifacts and actionable recommendations
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to translate insights into roadmaps
Document insights in a central repository and evolve personas/archetypes and journey maps
Collaborate with Research Operations to standardize materials and processes
Champion adoption of AI and agentic technologies across the organization

Key requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Design, HCI, Behavioral Sciences, or related field; advanced UX certification with 5+ years in user research for digital solutions
Advanced research planning skills to design and lead complex studies
Strong data analysis capabilities for qualitative and quantitative data
Excellent report writing and executive presentation skills
Proven cross-functional leadership and collaboration across design, product, and engineering
Solid knowledge of AI, agentic workflows and their application in research
Experience evaluating AI-enabled user interactions and informing product strategy
Experience in a B2B environment and familiarity with tax & accounting workflows (preferred)
