As a Senior Custom Design Engineer, you will design and verify embedded SRAM and custom digital blocks for advanced compute-in-memory technology. You will optimize performance, power, and area for FinFET nodes and drive integration with digital-on-top flows. You’ll lead silicon correlation, collaborate with layout on routing and EM/IR, and enhance methodologies with scripting. This role sits at the core of innovative, high-performance memory sub-systems and offers impact across architecture, verification, and characterization. The opportunity combines advanced engineering, cross-team collaboration, and hands-on silicon delivery.

Responsibilities

Design and verify embedded SRAM and custom digital blocks (e.g., caches, register files, datapath)
Optimize PPA for advanced nodes, address variation and stability, run Monte Carlo simulations
Define digital boundaries and timing budgets for digital-on-top flows
Plan and execute silicon correlation, bring-up, benches, and ATE data analysis
Collaborate with layout teams on floorplanning, guarding, shielding, routing, and EM/IR issues
Enhance characterization and regression methodologies via Python or Tcl, contribute to specs and collateral

Key requirements

Master’s or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering
≥5 years of experience in custom digital, analog, or SRAM design
Proven ownership of complete design cycles for sub-blocks
Strong expertise in high-performance and low-power circuit design on FinFET nodes
Excellent communication to define interfaces and constraints across teams
Self-directed, organized, and delivery-oriented approach
