In this role you combine IT expertise with M&A know-how to assess technology value and execution potential in pre- and post-deal contexts. You will work with cross-functional teams to evaluate innovation capabilities, IT due diligence findings, and integration opportunities for both buy-side and sell-side clients. You’ll influence C-level decisions by translating tech insights into deal value and risk mitigation. This fast-growing, international practice offers hands-on work shaping technology-enabled deal outcomes.

Responsibilities

Identify technology and innovation capabilities to support business growth (digital, platform, automation, AI, cloud)
Conduct IT due diligence to assess IT contribution to business objectives and identify investment risks
Contribute to IT due diligence, carve-out, integration and IT synergy/cost-saving assessments in project teams
Create value and growth opportunities through IT and digital-enabled performance improvements
Collaborate with colleagues on services such as advanced due diligence, carve-out support, and M&A integration
Communicate and advise at board level (CEO, CFO, CIO, M&A)
Support IT/digital strategy and operating model design
Assist in operational restructuring and rapid value creation
Align with Delivering Deal Value (DDV) to identify and realize full deal value

Key requirements

3+ years of IT experience in IT consulting, Big 4, or relevant corporate IT strategy/transformation roles
University degree in computer science, information science, AI or related discipline
Deal/M&A IT experience (due diligence, carve-out, integration or IT-enabled improvements) is a plus
Commercial mindset with strong social and client-facing skills
Ability to deliver board-level quality advice
Excellent reporting and communication skills in English (Dutch a plus)
