You will lead sustainability at the intersection of strategy, commercial delivery, and external partnerships for FrieslandCampina’s Dutch dairy business. You’ll translate ambitions into scalable, commercially viable solutions for retailers, guiding cross‑functional teams and external experts. The role offers high visibility, strategic influence, and the chance to shape a sustainable dairy proposition for consumers and partners. This position is grounded in a mission to accelerate the transition to a sustainable food system, with growth and impact at scale.
Compensation / Benefits
- Salary between 7,700 and 10,400 per month
- Full-time 40 hours
- 15% bonus and pension
- Flexible working hours, hybrid working, company car and train pass
- 200 hours of annual leave, buy/sell 40 hours, 8% holiday allowance

Responsibilities
- Bridge strategic exploration with commercial execution to reflect future sustainability directions in plans
- Translate sustainability ambitions into scalable, commercially viable retail solutions
- Lead complex sustainability projects with cross-functional stakeholders across sustainability, supply chain, quality and commercial
- Maintain relationships with NGOs, certification bodies and external experts to ensure alignment with market realities
- Collaborate with corporate teams and the cooperative to evaluate scenarios driving the sustainability agenda for farmers and customers
Key requirements
- 12+ years of relevant experience including direct engagement with retail partners
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Background in Sales, Category Management, Sustainability and/or Strategy within a retail environment
- Proven ability to operate in complex stakeholder environments and engage senior commercial leaders, customers and external partners
- Growth mindset and intrinsic motivation to drive sustainability transitions at scale
- Strong strategic thinking with an analytical, data‑driven approach to decision making
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch
- Based in the Netherlands within commuting distance of Amersfoort
