Experteer Overview
As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will design and deliver Azure-based architectures for application workloads, ensuring resilient, compliant cloud solutions. You will partner with engineering, security, and governance teams to shape the cloud transformation roadmap and drive best practices. You’ll translate business needs into scalable cloud designs, with a focus on DR/backup, security architecture, and platform automation. This is an operational role in a fast-paced, transformational environment with a strong emphasis on collaboration and impact.

Responsibilities
- Design Azure solution architectures for application workloads
- Create disaster recovery and backup plans aligned to non-functional requirements
- Support engineering teams with infrastructure and cloud solution design
- Build relationships with application teams to enable cloud transformation
- Collaborate with Security, Enterprise Architecture and Governance to evolve cloud technology roadmap and governance
Key requirements
- App workload design using Cloud Platform Services (SaaS, PaaS)
- Architecture decision-based technology selection
- Experience with Azure AI Services, AKS, App Services, DataBricks, ADF, Service Bus, EventHub, Key Vault, Storage, Container Registry, Functions, Redis, LogicApps, Firewall, VNET, Private Endpoint, Service Endpoint, SQL Server, CosmosDB, MongoDB
- IaC design using Terraform on Azure DevOps
- Azure disaster recovery and backup design
- Azure Well-Architected framework or cloud design patterns
- Programming languages: .Net/C#, Java, Python, or Ruby
- Azure landing zone design and platform automation, DevSecOps tooling, security and HA architecture
- DevOps methodology and continuous deployment pipelines
- Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Comfort in transformational, fast-paced environments
- English proficiency
