Experteer Overview
In this role you drive the clinical evidence strategy to support Olympus products across GI, EndoTherapy, and related divisions. You collaborate with global teams and external partners to design and execute studies, ensuring regulatory and publication readiness while informing product development and commercialization. You will lead protocol writing, CRFs, and IIT/CCR initiatives, translating scientific data into actionable business insights. This position offers impact across development, regulatory submissions, and cross-divisional programs within a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to an evidence generation strategy aligning with business unit goals
- Provide input to BD, R&D, and PDP activities to inform value propositions
- Translate corporate initiatives into operational clinical plans with Global Clinical Leads
- Design, execute, analyze, and close out clinical trials (protocols, CRFs, reports)
- Oversee IIT and CCR initiatives
- Present updates to internal/external stakeholders and support publication strategies
- Support regulatory submissions and cross-functional communications with Sales, R&D, PMO, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs
- Ensure studies comply with Olympus policies, regulatory requirements, and global standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements
- BA/BS in life sciences or related field
- Minimum 8 years of medical device industry experience in Clinical Affairs/Operations or Medical Affairs
- Experience with evidence generation strategies
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Demonstrated scientific writing ability
- Project planning and organizational skills for complex assignments
- Innovative, resourceful, and able to work with minimal direction
- Excellent verbal and written communications across multiple levels
- Proven ability to engage external stakeholders and build physician/researcher relationships
- Global cross-functional collaboration experience and willingness to travel up to 5–10%
