Senior Specialist / Project Manager
Experteer Overview
In this role, you drive the SAFO buying strategy for Eataly North America across salumi, formaggi, antipasti, and dairy. You’ll lead catalog development, forecasting, and vendor partnerships to ensure lineup aligns with sales and margin goals. Partner with cross-functional teams to curate product assortments and launch new offerings for markets and stores. You’ll shape cost savings initiatives and supply chain opportunities while upholding merchandising standards. This is a chance to influence product strategy at scale within a collaborative, growth-oriented corporate product team.

Responsibilities
- Lead procurement strategies for salumi, formaggi, antipasti, and dairy across NA locations
- Assist in SAFO product curation and maintain assortment with Category Manager
- Monitor pricing, margins, and catalog quality; analyze buy opportunities by category
- Manage relationships with vendors and producers; negotiate contracts and explore new supply chain options
- Collaborate with Director of Fresh on product curation and partnerships
- Identify cost savings, SKU rationalization, and market pricing optimization
- Plan and execute new product launches, promotions, and activations tied to producer agreements
- Ensure merchandising and assortment standards across retail teams with cross-functional collaboration
- Support product team financial goals and operational innovation needs
- Play a key role in selecting products for new markets and store openings
- Complete ad-hoc projects as needed
- Travel occasionally to NA locations
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years in procurement
- 3+ years in category management or end-to-end product lifecycle experience
- Strong data and analytical skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
