In this role you will advise on Dutch employment law and HR issues within a dynamic, international team. You’ll work with experienced lawyers and multidisciplinary colleagues on local and global projects, contributing from early stages to implementation. You’ll handle a mix of advisory, transactional, and HR-focused work, including international assignments and complex restructurings. Responsibilities
- advise employers on (collective) dismissal law, terms and conditions of employment, works council legislation, transfers of undertaking, and collective agreements
- work on international, multi-competence projects and collaborate with Dutch and international colleagues
- participate in client meetings and contribute from early project stages to delivery
- handle advisory work and project implementation, including acquisitions, carve-outs, restructurings, and international assignments
- engage in HR-focused projects as part of the deals & transformations team
- operate in a flexible setup, occasionally onsite at client locations in the Netherlands
- develop innovative services and work effectively in an international environment
Key requirements
- university-level program in Dutch law
- minimum 3–4 years relevant experience in employment law and broad HR interest
- ambitious and willing to take on new and challenging work
- flexible, proactive, team-oriented, with strong client service and relationship skills
- excellent communication, including English proficiency
- ability to work independently and across disciplines
