Experteer Overview
As an APC Consultant, you implement online control and optimization at customer plants using Schneider Electric’s APC technology. You will work on 3–6 month deployments, often onsite, and liaise with customers to deliver measurable performance gains. You support sales, develop business cases, and contribute to technology development and industry forums. You join a global team driving sustainable efficiency and are empowered to shape solutions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
- Execute APC projects for 3–6 months using Schneider Electric’s APC tech
- Serve as the sole Schneider Electric representative at site
- Support Sales with benefit studies, business cases, and proposals
- Develop innovative solutions to grow the business
- Provide technical support to existing customers via email/phone
- Analyze problems, diagnose issues, and assist customers in resolving them
- Engage in technology development activities including testing and fault reporting
- Represent Schneider Electric at technical conferences and with the wider DCS/AVEVA portfolio
- Travel up to 50% to US and global customer sites
Key requirements
- 8+ years of industrial experience in the process sector
- Degree in Chemical, Control, or Electrical Engineering
- Extensive experience with APC software (EcoStruxure APC, Aspen DMC, Honeywell Forge APC, Yokogawa PACE)
- Knowledge of dynamic process modeling, process control systems, DCS, and historians
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time
- Strong customer-facing skills and independent work style
- Proficiency in software applications, Windows architectures, and networks
