In this role you apply quantitative risk modelling to support insurers, banks, and other clients with actuarial, valuation, and credit risk needs. You will develop and validate models, advise on balance sheet management and ALM, and analyze large datasets using modern techniques. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver practical solutions and help clients navigate new technologies and regulatory challenges. This is a growth-focused opportunity within PwC’s Risk Modelling Services to shape client outcomes and build cross-functional expertise.

Responsibilities

Develop models for valuation and capital calculations of actuarial, financial, credit, and market risks
Validate, review, or audit quantitative models
Advise on balance sheet management and ALM
Analyze large datasets and design practical client solutions (e.g., via ML or advanced tech)
Collaborate with People Analytics on HR data projects
Support merger and acquisition processes
Provide quantitative consulting for pricing, cyber risk, and related domains using R or Python
Advise clients on new technologies and developments

Key requirements

University degree in Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or comparable technical subject
At least 3 years of relevant experience in actuarial/financial risk, capital management, or financial planning models
Proficient in Dutch and English
Strong problem-solving and client-facing consulting skills
Team-oriented and capable of inspiring clients and colleagues
