In this role you will manage a diverse client portfolio within the Corporate Expansion Services team, acting as the main contact for clients, their accountants and advisers. You will oversee financial and administrative duties, including SPV administration, reporting and statutory filings, and support audits. You will contribute to growth of the Amsterdam office while mentoring junior colleagues and sharing knowledge across international offices. This position offers exposure to cross-border finance work and a chance to shape client relationships and processes.

Responsibilities

Manage a client portfolio and serve as the primary contact for clients, accountants, and advisers on financial and tax matters
Maintain and develop client relationships with operational staff and support client meetings
Administer SPVs, prepare and review monthly/quarterly reports, analyze variances, cash flow and working capital
Close accounts by reviewing work of property managers and completing SPV-level closings
Prepare VAT and CIT filings with external advisers; prepare and review statutory financial statements (Dutch GAAP/IFRS)
Coordinate local audits, address audit queries, and ensure on-time, budget-friendly completion
Manage bank accounts and client payments
Plan and organize work to ensure timely filing of records; mentor and motivate junior/medior staff
Participate in board meetings by presenting annual accounts and providing explanations
Perform miscellaneous finance/administrative tasks as required
Share accounting knowledge cross-border with international offices

Key requirements

Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, accounting, or equivalent
Minimum five years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of Dutch GAAP/IFRS
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Self-motivated with good decision-making and problem-solving; able to work independently and in a team
Demonstrable experience with accounting software
