Experteer Overview

As a Senior Scientific Leader in Roche’s Digital Biomarker and Remote Patient Management chapter, you will shape the digital science capability within RIS DA&R. You will lead the development of novel digital outcome measures for trials and care, and build a high-impact biomarker science team. You will liaise with clinical, regulatory, and translational science stakeholders to drive acceptance of digital endpoints. You contribute to strategy, advocacy, and external dissemination to advance Digital Health at Roche and in the broader research community.

Responsibilities

Establish and mature the digital science capability within the chapter
Develop roadmaps for novel digital outcome measures for trials and care
Lead and grow the digital biomarker science team across RIS needs
Represent Science in the chapter leadership and guide its evolution
Collaborate with clinical development, biomarker, regulatory, and data science stakeholders
Drive regulatory and community acceptance of digital endpoints
Advocate for Digital Health Technology in internal and external venues, including conferences and publications
Drive change to unlock potential of digital health solutions in trials and clinical use

Key requirements

PhD level in a quantitative natural science or medical discipline
10+ years in pharmaceutical or related industry
Strong track record in digital biomarker science and endpoints
Extensive senior leadership experience in a large organization
Proven ability to build internal and external networks
Recognized as a digital health leader by the community
Experience designing and analyzing complex long-term clinical experiments
Structured problem solving in fast-changing environments
Ability to set direction for a team of scientists
Native English or equivalent with excellent writing skills
