As an SAP Functional Solution Architect for Finance Transformation, you will shape end-to-end SAP-enabled solutions for Retail and Grocery clients. You’ll lead business cases, roadmaps, and delivery, aligning client goals with SAP capabilities and AI enhancements. You’ll guide multi-disciplinary teams, drive value through Finance processes, and act as a trusted advisor in a global delivery context. This role offers the chance to influence transformation programs at scale on innovative SAP platforms within a collaborative, inclusive culture.
Responsibilities
- Engage with senior Finance executives to discuss challenges, trends, and value of SAP solutions
- Lead definition of SAP journey through business cases and roadmaps, including sales origination and client presentations
- Architect end-to-end Finance solutions leveraging SAP technologies and partner apps
- Explain SAP Business AI strategy and identify areas where AI adds value
- Experience deploying AI use cases within SAP delivery to boost efficiency
- Advise, design and deliver Finance solutions using industry best practices and SAP-driven innovation
- Lead large project teams, onsite or offshore, to achieve transformational roadmaps
- Remain current on regulations, trends, and innovations; build assets and best practices
- Act as a thought leader and develop transformation expertise across teams and leadership
Key requirements
- ≥7 years as SAP Functional Solution Architect and Process Integration Lead with Finance domain in Retail/Grocery
- ≥7 years SAP Retail/Grocery project experience (not purely SAP support/managed services)
- ≥4 years SAP Finance Integrations with cross-functional areas
- ≥3 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations including governance of planning, estimation, and architecture
- Experience managing SAP delivery teams in Global Delivery Model, leading workshops and SAP build/config/test/cutover/go-live
- Prior advisory/consulting experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (12 years of work experience); Associate's degree requires 6 years of experience
