In this role you will lead Santander's Trade & Working Capital origination sales in Spain, aligning with the Head of Trade Sales for Europe. You will drive growth opportunities, shape the origination strategy, and oversee a 14-person team to deliver WC and Trade solutions within M&A, Project Finance, and Leverage Finance contexts. You will advise clients on optimal Working Capital structures and position Trade in senior stakeholder discussions. Responsibilities

Define, execute and monitor the Trade & Working Capital origination strategy and growth initiatives linked to Investment Banking transactions
Manage and develop a team of 14 professionals to sustain performance
Identify growth opportunities and drive implementation across Santander footprint
Advise on optimal Working Capital solutions structures considering client capital structure and projections
Originate and structure Trade & Working Capital solutions within M&A, Project Finance and Leverage Finance contexts

Key requirements

Minimum +10 years of experience in Trade & Working Capital Solutions, Structured Finance, Markets or Relationship Management in an international bank
Front office experience or equivalent origination role with client exposure in corporate, law firms or consultancy
Structured Finance/Leveraged Finance/Project Finance background
Proven leadership of high-performance teams and ability to define commercial strategy
Bachelor in Business Administration/Engineering/Law/Economics (preferred)
Spanish (bilingual) and English (advanced)
