In this role you drive sales performance through empowered leadership and strategic market engagement. You will lead a team of Sales Counselors, ensuring ethical practices and quota attainment while expanding market share. You’ll develop and execute community-focused marketing programs and coach staff on sales processes, closing skills, and customer service. This position blends people management, training, and compliance to support the location’s growth within regulatory guidelines. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create a professional, outcomes-oriented sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead staff and drive sales performance to meet/exceed quotas
  • Provide ongoing sales training to Sales Counselors and guide aftercare, prospecting, product knowledge, and closing skills
  • Support sales counselors with guidance on compliance, pricing, paperwork, and customer service
  • Develop marketing programs aligned with local demographics and community events
  • Monitor competitor pricing and manage budgeted sales programs, incentives, and materials
  • Ensure compliance with HMIS, laws, and company policies; oversee discounts and financial controls
  • Maintain sales rooms, offices, and marketing materials; ensure professional environment
  • Ensure all counselors obtain licensure and adhere to Code of Conduct
  • Utilize CRM systems and Windows-based tools; protect confidentiality
  • Assist in expense management and reporting to demonstrate financial controls

Key requirements

  • High school education or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Sales experience not required; sales supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Insurance license as required by state/province law
  • Experience presenting, training, coaching, and motivating sales teams a plus
  • Knowledge of Windows-based PC environment and MS Office; CRM knowledge a plus
  • Ability to work beyond standard hours and set challenging but achievable goals
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
