In this role, you drive growth in Flanders by leading the sales function for Philips health technology solutions, building strong customer relationships, and aligning cross-functional resources to meet targets. You will manage BeLux sales, shape commercial and operational strategies, and optimize the sales funnel to maximize revenue and margin. You’ll engage with hospital stakeholders at multiple levels and lead a high-performing team to deliver sustainable value. This is an opportunity to influence market strategy and improve customer outcomes in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets across BeLux (Flanders) and optimize order intake, service contracts, and margin growth
  • Drive customer satisfaction (NPS) through long-term, multi-level relationships
  • Develop and execute commercial and operational sales strategies including pricing, forecasting, budgeting, and KPI selection
  • Contribute to local marketing strategies and price realization
  • Manage and optimize the sales funnel with win/loss analyses and customer satisfaction reviews
  • Ensure quotations align with validated specifications and are feasible
  • Validate third-party product integrations for compatibility and compliance
  • Coordinate internal resources across departments to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure organizational structure and capabilities meet sales targets in Flanders
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team with a culture of high performance and diversity

Key requirements

  • Bachelor in business-related field or Master in business-related, clinical, or technical field
  • 10+ years of healthcare sales experience including leading and managing sales teams
  • Proven track record selling to hospitals at all levels (administration, nursing, biomedical engineering, procurement)
  • Deep understanding of the Belgian healthcare market and stakeholders
  • Strong consultative sales, credible, professional approach
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple touchpoints within accounts
  • Experience in matrix organizations and cross-functional teams
  • Customer-first mindset with proficiency in closing deals, executive selling, strategic account management, and value positioning
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Fluency in Dutch and English; French is a plus
