In this role you will lead the EMEA sales operations, guiding Regional Sales Directors and the Application team to grow our packaging machinery business. You will blend strategic insight with hands-on leadership to drive cross-functional alignment, nurture multinational teams, and deepen key customer relationships. You will tackle complex market challenges across diverse sectors, shaping regional growth within a global framework. Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership to a cross-functional sales and solution-building team aligned with company objectives
Develop and execute sales strategies to target growth in complex machinery across multiple regions and sectors
Drive customer satisfaction through high service standards and product offerings
Optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the EMEA region
Promote collaboration and integration across teams for a unified approach to objectives
Manage travel to maintain presence and support across diverse market areas
Define clear targets and KPIs to foster a results-driven culture
Evaluate initiatives to broaden market reach and enhance customer engagement
Contribute to global strategy by aligning EMEA objectives with broader business goals

Key requirements

15+ years of experience selling complex machinery
10+ years in leadership roles, ideally in packaging
proven experience managing diverse, multicultural teams in an international matrix
strong commercial skills and a detail-oriented approach to market opportunity identification
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial engineering (preferred)
fluency in Dutch or German and English; French is advantageous
