As a Sales & Service Engineer, you support downstream chemical processes for refineries and petrochemical plants, building sustainable client relationships and identifying new opportunities. You work from the BENELUX region, collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate lab work, sampling, testing, and technical support. You help drive safety, quality, and compliance while managing tenders and improvement programs. This role offers hybrid work options, client-site assignments, and a company car, aligning technical service with business development to impact refinery operations and profitability.

Tasks
- Identify and exploit new sales opportunities with existing and new clients
- Maintain client relationships and act as interface with internal functions
- Manage chemical supply chain, stockpile, sampling, testing, and process reporting
- Coordinate laboratory work and provide technical assistance for HS&E projects
- Develop and report improvement programs; manage tenders, technical requests, projects, and chemical tests
Key requirements
- Engineering degree in chemical engineering or an engineering field with equivalent experience
- Experience in oil refineries and/or petrochemical production; laboratory environment experience
- Familiarity with HS&E and QA standards in chemical settings
- Knowledge of chemical test methods, industrial processes, and quality standards
- Full proficiency in Dutch and English
