In this role, you support Rehab Services by handling non-clinical tasks and assisting the licensed staff with patient care under supervision. You help maintain equipment, ensure infection-control practices, and support documentation, billing, and scheduling to keep Rehabilitation Services running smoothly. You will communicate with patients, families, and therapists, and coordinate across departments for a seamless patient experience. This position offers a pathway to contribute to a patient-first environment within a large healthcare system. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support care plans and operational needs.

Responsibilities

Follow infection control policies and maintain equipment safely and log maintenance
Assist therapists and patient care under supervision, communicating patient status changes
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and ensure proper plan of care communication
Coordinate scheduling, patient intake, consents/authorizations, and billing information
Manage department communications, inventory, and interdepartmental referrals
Process payments, collect co-pays, and handle end-of-day cash closing
Handle faxing of documents for authorizations and signatures
Provide patient and guest information and support with administrative tasks
