As Regional Sales Manager for North and East Spain, you lead the field sales team to grow Leica Biosystems’ market share and meet annual targets. You’ll craft area plans with the Commercial Director, manage customer relationships, and drive sustainable growth. You optimize opportunity management via Salesforce, maintain robust funnel visibility, and provide reliable forecasts for short- and mid-term horizons. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to accelerate life-changing diagnostics advancements.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers and Application Consultants
Drive a sustainable business that delivers value to Leica Biosystems and customers
Foster opportunity management through Salesforce.com in line with standard work
Generate and maintain a healthy sales funnel and high win rate to achieve goals
Ensure 12–18 month funnel visibility and provide 30–60–90 day forecasts using SFDC data
Provide manufacturing readiness input for a 180 day forecast and conduct weekly short-term forecast reviews
Develop area sales plans in collaboration with the Commercial Director and sales teams
Build and grow strong customer relations in the assigned territory

Key requirements

MBA, Commercial Degree, or Bachelor in Life Sciences with relevant experience in Diagnostics, Life Science or Pathology markets
5+ years of People Leadership experience and sales, marketing or business development in a complex, matrix environment
1–2 years of P&L experience in an international company environment
Proven ability to influence and drive change and translate strategic initiatives into actionable activities
Proven leadership to develop a commercial organization and segment/territory
