As Regional Manager, you drive profitable growth of Group Dental and Eye Care portfolios and ASO contracts in your area. You lead sales efforts, mentor staff, and partner with the RVP to shape strategic plans from the field to the Home Office. You’ll focus on increasing in-force lives and block profitability while managing budgets and persistency. This remote role offers a mission-driven, collaborative environment with flexible hybrid options.

Responsibilities

  • Build sales plan to meet assigned goals
  • Create persistency plan and coordinate with sales support, underwriting, and national accounts
  • Develop plans to improve state aggregate block profitability
  • Mentor and develop staff to strengthen customer loyalty
  • Review top-line and bottom-line quarterly; define actions to improve sales, persistency, profit, and underwriting
  • Serve as liaison between field and Home Office to meet cross-functional goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with local civic and professional organizations
  • Operate within the assigned budget for all areas of responsibility

Key requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of proven sales and industry experience
  • Creativity and strong problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude for sales, leadership, coaching, and strategic thinking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Business acumen including budgets, expense management, and cost improvements
  • Industry designations are a plus
