In this role, you drive the marketing and sales of Aberdeen’s investment products across the US Southeast, collaborating with financial professionals to grow the client base. You will lead sales initiatives, present to shareholders and clients, and maintain strong intermediary relationships. Your efforts support client service with performance updates and timely activity tracking in Salesforce. This is a hands-on, territory-focused role that combines strategic selling with rigorous product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales initiatives for the US Southeast territory across all distribution channels
  • Identify client needs and coordinate cross-functional efforts to serve assigned territory
  • Follow up with existing and potential clients and provide investment performance updates
  • Make presentations to current and prospective shareholders/clients
  • Develop and manage relationships with intermediaries (independent and regional BDs, RIAs, wire houses)
  • Lead intermediary initiatives within the defined territory
  • Conduct client meetings and ensure accurate recording of all activities in Salesforce

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in investment management, finance, business or related field (preferably in investment management)
  • 5+ years of experience in investment management or related field
  • Extensive contacts within the financial advisor community in the territory
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry, financial concepts and client-service strategies
  • Prior ETF sales experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical and technical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently and under changing priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 33%
  • NASD License Series 7 and 63 required
