As Regional Safety Manager you lead safety and compliance across a multi-state territory to drive the goal of zero accidents. You work within Corporate Health & Safety to develop and implement programs, train regional teams, and manage audits and incident investigations. You partner with operations to improve risk controls and ensure regulatory readiness. This role offers remote work with significant travel and a chance to influence safety culture and operational excellence across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional EHS efforts to prevent injuries and illnesses
  • Develop and implement safety training programs for construction/manufacturing contexts
  • Conduct and close safety audits; create corrective action plans with operations
  • Compile and report safety metrics; respond to OSHA and other regulators
  • Investigate injuries/incidents; perform root cause analysis and action plans
  • Manage OSHA citations and regulatory compliance within the region
  • Provide field and facility safety meetings and training
  • Train regional resources on construction safety and risk reduction

Key requirements

  • 5+ Years' experience in OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations and safety administration in construction/manufacturing/logistics environments
  • Proficient in OSHA, EPA regulations and state/federal laws
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across CA, OR, WA, AZ and reside in CA/OR/WA/AZ
  • Bachelor's Degree (highly preferred)
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Construction Health Safety Technician (CHST) preferred
