In this role you drive regional growth by acquiring and developing mid- to large-sized ocean freight customers. You will craft strategic plans, leverage established relationships, and deliver end-to-end solutions. You’ll collaborate with Product, Operations, Credit, and international offices to ensure service excellence and competitive pricing. The position focuses on expanding ocean freight tonnage and building long-term, value-driven partnerships. This is an opportunity to shape global account development within a leading logistics provider.

Responsibilities

Identify and secure mid- to large-sized customers (500+ TEUs/annum) with significant volumes
Develop strategic sales plans and meet sales targets
Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers to retain and grow share of wallet
Provide tailored end-to-end Ocean freight solutions and guidance on regulations, loading, crating, handling, and equipment needs
Collaborate with Product, Procurement, Operations, Credit, and International Offices to ensure service excellence and timely collections
Monitor market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities and drive YoY growth
Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts with CRM updates
Represent the company at industry events and market updates to strengthen brand presence

Key requirements

5+ years of Ocean freight business development experience with key accounts
Proven track record securing and growing Ocean freight business with 500+ TEU accounts
Ability to negotiate and consultatively sell to mid- and large-sized accounts
Deep understanding of global Ocean freight operations, Incoterms, and trade compliance; capacity management and end-to-end solutions
