Experteer Overview
As a Senior Accountant Associate in R2R, you will support the accounting cycle to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance. You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, and month/year-end closures while supporting intercompany transactions and audit readiness. You will contribute to process optimization, standardization, and cross-functional initiatives, including ERP migrations and system upgrades. This role offers exposure to a global finance landscape within Publicis Groupe’s shared services, with a focus on control, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries and perform balance sheet and P&L analyses
- Manage intercompany transactions and ensure data integrity across R2R processes
- Conduct month-end and year-end close activities; prepare financial statements and audit documentation
- Lead or support onboarding and training for new team members
- Drive process optimization using best practices, root-cause analysis, and automation tools
- Assist with ERP migrations, system upgrades, and transformation programs
- Collaborate with P2P and O2C teams to resolve cross-functional accounting issues and improve end-to-end processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate policies, and SOX controls
Key requirements
- Advanced university studies (90% progress) or Bachelor degree related to Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- Advanced English level B2/C1
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting cycle, intercompany processes and month-end closing
- Experience with SAP migrations and S/4HANA
- Excel knowledge
