Responsibilities

Lead complex, cross-functional R&D projects from inception to industrialization
Manage project team scope, budget, resources, schedule and work allocation
Ensure adherence to internal directives and sound execution practices
Handle change requests and manage risk with transparent reporting
Align project outcomes with customer value across Hitachi Energy functions
Manage relationships with internal teams, other R&D groups, and external parties

Key requirements

Master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field
Min. 4+ years' experience in Project Management, ideally in Product Development
Proven leadership in agile environments and proactive, goal-oriented personality
Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Willingness to learn and adapt in cross-cultural, multi-location teams
Familiarity with Project Management tools; Project Management Certification is a plus
Excellent command of English; German is a plus
