In this role you will drive R&D activities for high voltage circuit breakers, bridging concept and series implementation. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical alignment and document development progress. You will supervise prototype handling and contribute to improving R&D processes. This position offers exposure to world-leading experts in a dynamic, international environment and the chance to impact the next generation of high voltage technology.
Responsibilities
- Execute product-development activities for specific R&D projects from concept to series implementation
- Support the Design Lead in product development topics and ensure structured documentation of development activities
- Plan and supervise assembly, disassembly and inspection of prototypes with other experts
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of R&D processes and activities
Key requirements
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related subject
- Working experience in an R&D environment is a plus
- Experience in project management is a plus
- Good know-how in 3D CAD and FEM software tools
- High expectations on quality of work
- Independent, proactive and goal-oriented personality
- Practically oriented and hands-on way of working
- Self-motivated and committed with willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent command of English and German, both written and spoken
